The Dream Center of Martinsville/Henry County

We are a Homeless services Ministry/Organization. We work closely with VA Department of Corrections, Probation/Parole, our local Sheriff’s Office, local and surrounding County jails, and prisons throughout the state of Virginia. We also work closely with local partnering agencies, and Drug and Alcohol Rehab facilities throughout several states to provide home plans for men completing their programs. We offer in house substance abuse support and group meetings, as well as housing, food, clothing, assist with employment opportunities and some transportation. We ask for a 6 month to 1 year commitment from our guest to complete our program. We focus on mentorship and accountability and We have men and women that volunteer and join hands across denominations that pour into the lives of our guests and offer support, mentorship, accountability partnerships and good direction. We are highly involved in our community and have ongoing volunteer programs with local churches, food ministries, homeless shelters, and local businesses. We also offer volunteer opportunities to the citizens of Martinsville/Henry County. We hold weekly group meetings and Bible studies, offer resources, and partner with local agencies, Ministries, and organizations to assist with substance abuse counseling and therapy. We are a Drug and Alcohol free facility and have a Zero Tolerence policy. We do drug screen randomly at our facilities. We are blessed to have 2 newly restored houses located in Martinsville, VA that enable us to house up to 16 men.

The Dream Center is a 501/c3 non-profit organization. We wish to join hands across denominations within the body of Christ for this cause. For this reason, we are not affiliated with any particular Church or Denomination. So we welcome all churches across denominations to join us for prayer, support, and volunteer opportunities.

Our program here at the Dream Center is simply an opportunity designed to help eliminate distractions so that we can focus 100% on the restoration process and start to “reBuild the Dreams Of Broken People.”
